The Pool Under 10s girls decided to do something a bit different at the end of this season by entering the Bridlington beach tournament.
Once the girls got used to the sand they dominated the group stages and progressed all the way to the semi final.
An amazing weekend has been enjoyed by players, coaches and parents alike, who all stayed over to make a full weekend of it.
This wasn't just about the football, this was a weekend of smiles, laughter, team (and parent) bonding and creating lasting memories.
Well done to all who made it possible.

An appreciation post for our sponsors Red Pepper Otley . Our Under 14s girls team celebrated their league win at the restaurant along with coaches and parents. Khalik Miah and the team have been nothing short of brilliant since agreeing to sponsor the girls 4 years ago.
The food and service are always outstanding and it's great to have a local business supporting grassroots football.

This is a fantastic group of girls: supportive, friendly, and a real team. We just need more players to keep them playing together.

Success brings welcome headaches!
So many teams in semi-final cup action this weekend.....Where will you be?
Our U14 Girls have made it through to the Harrogate & Craven Junior Girls Football League CUP semi final against Guiseley Juniors Girls.
Kick off at 09:30, down at the Riverside pitch in Pool. Get down there and support Pool Girls!

Best of luck to our U10 and U15 Girls who are in the Semi Finals of the League Shield this weekend. Get along to cheer them on!
Starting with the U10 who are away to local rivals Bramhope 09:30 KO, and then it's down to the Riverside in Pool as the U15's take on Skipton, 11:30 KO

Well would you look at these grinners!
HUGE congrats to our U11 Girls who won the Plate Competition at the Harrogate & Craven Junior Girls Football League gala yesterday!

After solid performances against some stiff competition in the round robin phase, they progressed to the Quarter Finals of the plate comp.
A convincing win led to an epic, end to end semi final which had to be decided by the dreaded penalty shoot out! Pool coming out victorious thanks to Isla converting and some key saves from Penny.
Onto the final, and another stellar performance from the girls, facing a team from the Division above but more than holding their own. We couldn't quite get the job done in normal time, so once again it was a nerve jangling shootout! High drama needed cool heads; Chloe, Gwynnie and Vivi all calmly found the back of the net, with Penny being the hero in pink pulling off some great saves, Pool ran out winners!

Through the wind, rain, hale and bright sunshine (all in one day), their team spirit, resilience and self belief never wavered. The comradery and sportsmanship was there for all to see. We're super proud of you girls, WELL DONE!!
