What a lovely morning we had today, making the decorations for our wicked event, tea/coffee cakes, lots of laughter had by all, a little visit from our lovely llewin! Who worked really hard today bless him. And also a visit from the Pcso’s who call in just to have a natter and a cuppa what a lovely little family we all are 🧙‍♀️🧹🎃

Are you a dementia carer or someone living with dementia?

Gelli life for living would love to welcome you to our Sweet Tree Workshop, an afternoon of creativity, chat and sweet treats.

Together we'll make our very own sweet trees, with all materials provided. Also, you will relax with us over a delicious afternoon tea in a warm and welcoming space - all of which is completely funded so your space is free of charge!

Hi my name is Kelsey and I’m 17 I am a young carer for my mother, my mother and my uncle both attend the group Gelli life for living, even as a child I attended group with my uncle, I love a Tuesday it’s fun, the trips out are also amazing and all my family with my nan and grampy also attend the trips these help us all to to make memories. 🏡❤️ What a day! Alan is finally in his forever home! ❤️🏡
Yesterday has been such an incredibly special and emotional day. After everything, Alan is finally settled into his beautiful forever home, and honestly, we couldn’t be happier for him. 🥹❤️
The love, care and support he is going to receive is absolutely second to none. His new flat is amazing — fully accessible and designed around his needs, with a 24-hour on-call system, and even a delicious two-course meal every day! Honestly… what more could a man want? 😂❤️ We’re all ready to move in with him! 😜
A huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to every single person who donated furniture, furnishings and all the little things that have helped turn Alan’s flat into a beautiful, warm and welcoming home. 🥰 Please know that every single donation has made a difference and you have not been forgotten. Without your kindness and generosity, Alan wouldn’t have the beautiful forever home he has today. ❤️
And to everyone who helped in the run-up to the move, on moving day and with getting everything organised — thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your incredible teamwork made everything run so smoothly. What could have been an overwhelming time was made so much easier because everyone pulled together. 🙏❤️

We are so much more than a group… we are family. ❤️ And for Alan, we are the only family he has. That makes what we do even more special.
