Pets are often a lifeline for people experiencing homelessness — offering warmth, comfort and companionship through the toughest times. 💛

That’s why StreetLink works with and to help people sleeping rough care for their pets through free veterinary support.

If you see someone sleeping rough, you can make a difference.
Submit an alert at StreetLink.org.uk and tick the box if a pet is involved — this helps connect both the person and their pet to the right support.

Together, we can make sure no one — and no pet — is left behind. 🐾

Support starts with an alert.

If you come across someone sleeping rough, raising an alert helps outreach teams connect them to local support.

When you raise an alert, try to include:
📍 An exact location (street name, bus stop or entrance)
🧥 What the person is wearing, descriptive details
🕒 When they were last seen
ℹ️ Any safety concerns or if they have a pet

You don’t need to know everything, just what you can see.
