Do you know what to do if you see someone rough sleeping?

You can tell StreetLink by submitting an alert on their website.

When you submit an alert:
▪️The details go to local outreach teams in the area
▪️These teams (mostly working at night) try to locate the person, assess their needs, and offer support
▪️The goal is to help people access the right services and move away from homelessness

Come down and join us at Cwmbran Library to meet our Homes Engagement Team who are on hand to give support and advice every Monday between 11am – 2pm ⏰

Their Homes Engagement Project also offers more in-depth ongoing support around hoarding, offering a support plan that is right for you.

Additional signposting to other relevant support agencies within Torfaen, depending on your specific needs, is also available so come down and meet the team for more information! 👋

This site has a Welsh language tab which is found in the upper right side of the page.

Self-help advice, resources and courses to help those facing homelessness. Melo provides help with your mental health and wellbeing.

Today is International Youth Day! A day where we recognise the achievements, potential and contributions of young people around the world.

Young people come from different backgrounds and experiences, but often share the same hopes for their future.

This could be their ambition to one day live independently in secure accommodation and be equipped with the skills needed to maintain a successful tenancy.

If you see someone sleeping on the streets, you can connect them to local support services by alerting StreetLink

Once an alert is submitted, details are sent to the local outreach teams who locate the individual, assess their needs, and offer support with the aim of ending their homelessness.
