Tired of fighting to get your child understood?

Many families navigating ALN, EBSA, neurodivergence, exclusions, and school-based difficulties are left exhausted trying to access the right support.

At Phoenix Foundation Cymru, we provide trauma-informed early intervention support for families navigating education and wellbeing systems.

We combine professional training, safeguarding knowledge, system understanding, and lived experience to help families:
• prepare for meetings
• evidence needs clearly
• improve communication with schools
• understand processes and support pathways
• reduce escalation before crisis point

We believe behaviour is communication, early intervention matters, and families deserve to feel heard.

Our approach is calm, collaborative, evidence-based, and child-centred.

Because early support changes outcomes.

Really looking forward to this 💙

At Phoenix Foundation Cymru, neurodiversity is something very close to our hearts, both professionally and personally. We’ll be talking openly about the realities of being neurodivergent as adults and parents, including sensory overload, emotional regulation, PDA, executive functioning and the challenges many families face navigating everyday life and support systems.

Thank you to Re-framing emotions and anxiety in children. for inviting us to be part of this alongside Veronica Sommariva Price from The Neuro Kind Hub

No judgement, no pressure, just honest conversations, shared experiences and support.

The boot sale has just opened — come on down and say hello 👋💙

Today we are with the The Glascoed Pub attending The Glascoed Pub CAR BOOT SALE and Jay’s. 3D PRINTING. Jay is 12 years old, has hearing loss, and makes all of these himself. We are proud to support young people building confidence, skills and independence through their own talents and creativity.

Jay’s mum, Aliema, is also part of the team at Phoenix Foundation Cymru, so it means even more to support and encourage his journey.

A huge thank you to Glascoed for hosting the car boot sale and bringing the community together. Supporting local really does make a difference — together we can build stronger, more inclusive communities for everyone.

Did you know Phoenix Foundation Cymru also offers Welsh language inclusive support and communication?

We believe everyone should feel understood, comfortable, and able to access support in the language they connect with best. One of our team is a fluent Welsh speaker, and inclusivity is a huge part of who we are as an organisation.

Behind the scenes we’ve all been extremely busy completing training, safeguarding, education support, wellbeing and community-based development work so we can continue building safe, informed and supportive services for families across our communities.

We are also currently planning a coffee morning / meet and greet where families, parents, professionals and community members can come and meet us properly, ask questions, learn about what we do, and connect with other people in a supportive environment.

More information coming soon — we can’t wait to meet you all.

We had the pleasure of coming along to the coffee morning with Mamau Ffit and we’re so pleased to share they are offering three free class passes to anyone referred through Phoenix Foundation Cymru.

Movement is powerful for wellbeing — exercise can support both body and mind, and this is a lovely women-only space that welcomes you to bring your children too.

Thank you Mamau Ffit for supporting community wellbeing and making movement more accessible for local women and families.

If you’d like to find out more about accessing the free passes through Phoenix, get in touch.
