Pontycymer Mens Shed

02/09/2026

Well, it's a sad day for me, because we have to say farewell to the Garw Valley Men's Shed.

Today was the last weekly get-together, of the Men's Shed, unfortunately we ended with just four members today. 😪👋

The Garw Valley Men's Shed held their annual AGM this morning.

I have to say that it was a very good meeting and lots of support to develop further activities and to have some Special Guest Speakers at future meetings.

A warm welcome to several new members that have joined us recently, Peter, Neville, Vincent and Richard.

It was agreed at the meeting for me to continue in the role of Chairman and Melvin Stirman to continue as Secretary and Treasurer for the next twelve months.

It was also agreed to hold two events this comming summer.

The first will be an inter Mens Shed Fun Day Event, followed later by a Craft Stall Event. Both will be held during the summer months, probably between July and September.

So watch this space for further updates.!!!
