Fitzwilliam Community Bike Track

Sorry for the lack of updates or activity on the track recently.

At the end of last month the Planning application for the MTB trails moved out of consultation and towards a decision.

It has been a bit of a rough journey needing extensive ecological reports and a clear statement of Biodiversity net gain to satisfy planners. Unfortunately there is a degree of negative feedback from one particular stakeholder, however we are hopeful that it will not be detrimental to the project. We were not aware of this until yesterday and have submitted information that we hope will strengthen our case.

Fingers crossed, the decision will be made in the very near future and things can once again move forward in our area.
