After the huge success of our Easter Activity Day, we've decided to do another one this Summer!
Aged 11-16 and looking for some summer holiday fun? Head to Minsthorpe Leisure Centre on Wednesday 26th August and get involved in a variety of exciting activities! From sports and games to arts and crafts there will be something for everyone.

⭐️MAN MATTERS South Kirkby group was on form with model clock building today.
It is looking like it will be a 3 week project with all the bits and pieces.

⭐️ If you are 18+ and identify as male, feel free to come along and join the group.

⭐️ We have free hot drinks, free activities and friendly faces!

⭐️ Every Wednesday 1pm until 3pm at The Hub, 22 West Street, South Kirkby, WF9 3HR.

⭐️ The group is run by Gasped, facilitated by Soup4EM and supported by local professionals.

⭐ Man Matters group is on today 1pm until 3PM

🃏 Last week we had a great time building model clocks and playing cards.

❤️ If you are 18+ and identify as male this group is for you! We are looking to build a group of males who support each others to complete tasks in the activity group.

⭐️If you would like to help the group to grow and move on to build a gardening group, learn to cook, build raised planters, make wooden models, play cards and chat. Please come along!

Moorthorpe Community Hub is open tomorrow!

Head down if you are a wakefield resident and you need help but not sure where to go, we will support you!

All help at Moorthorpe Community Hub is free to all Wakefield residents, from professional partners and supportive.

Moorthorpe Community Hub is open from 9am until 4pm.

WMDC Community Connector will be there with the Swap to stop v**e scheme kits that are free to Wakefield residents to aid stopping smoking or using disposable v**es. They will also be able to offer Digital Inclusion support if you are struggling to afford your mobile phone bills.

WMDC Health and Wellbeing team can offer blood pressure checks, health checks and nutritional support.

Live Well Social Prescribers can support you to source professional support for any life barriers you are experiencing.

Soup4EM volunteers are working with Wakefield Council and Young Lives Consortium to deliver a free 'Get to know your neighbour' session on the 1st of April.

Young People are invited to prepare food with 'Let's get cooking' for the session. All ingredients are supplied. Bring the young people in your household along to join in!
