Sunshine, cooking and litter picking. These were just some of the things unit 5 got up to on their 4th prep camp.

Friday consisted of eating a lot of cheese and fighting the wind when pitching our tents.

Saturday - the weather cleared up lovely in time for our breath taking Pembrokeshire coastal walks. Thanks to National Trust for providing us with litter pickers and bins to do our bit for the environment on our way through.
Then some games on the beach followed by a delicious BBQ.
On the way back, we conveniently found an ice cream shop.

Sunday consisted of some team games, lots of cooking and discussions about our next prep camp...keep your eyes peeled to find out where we will be!

Sweeping views, sore legs, and a much cleaner coastline! 🌊🥾

Our Jamboree participants took on an adventurous trek through the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast National Park—and they didn't just leave footprints. Armed with litter picking gear kindly provided by the National Trust the team carried out a thorough clean-up along the trail, making sure this incredible landscape stays as beautiful as they found it.

Huge shoutout to the National Trust for supporting us, and to every participant who put in the extra effort to protect our outdoor spaces. Small actions, massive impact! 💚🌍

A huge thank you to everyone who made this week’s Paint Along session such a vibrant success! Fran and Lou - you were excellent hosts!

Thanks to your incredible support, our Jamboree participants are one step closer to their big adventure.

We were blown away by the generous donations for our raffle from across our amazing local community.

More fundraising opportunities for some of unit 5 members at Gower Climbing Festival

We have been cooking and serving breakfast for the guests and volunteers to fuel them for the day!

Unit 5 spent the day at St Fagans learning about Welsh culture and enjoying the sunshine 🌞

We enjoyed a lovely picnic outside. A variety of foods including scones 😋

Members of unit 5 in the Glam West area have been doing some more fundraising lately.

We did a bucket collection in Tesco and supported over 8000 runners at the Swansea Half Marathon!

We got our UK Contingent neckers on the weekend. Everyone was otterly pleased with them 🦦

Prep Camp 2

Unit 5 smashed their sponsored climb this weekend! 🧗‍♂️

They had an Everest-sized goal, but they made it look hill-arious by adding Pen Y Fan AND Snowdon to the tally. We're inclined to say they did an amazing job!
