👀 New uniform is being launched and will be making its way to our shop soon!!

We’re really excited to see it all properly soon but here is a sneak peek!

We’ll share more details in the coming weeks as we know more and can start to order into the shop.

Current uniform can continue to be worn until you’re ready to move section or buy a new size so don’t worry if what you have at the moment still fits.

We have very proudly presented two Plympton Appreciation Awards this week to two brilliant volunteers.

Our first went to Kristy, one of our Brownie leaders who has taken on new challenges this year, supported her fellow leaders when they have needed to take a break and consistently comes up with fun and creative activities for her unit. She always offers to help out and is very generous with her time. Thank you Kristy 🙌

The second went to Jody, one of our Guide leaders who has shown so much care and attention to the Guides in her unit ensuring that they can take part in activities to the best of their abilities whilst also being fun and so creative (we appreciate her baking and crafty skills very much). Jody has ensured the unit has kept running smoothly this year including on camp last weekend. Thank you Jody 🙌

Last evening before the summer holidays for Wednesday Guides with a quick trip to Plymouth Hoe before the football tonight 🙌

We found some of the stlukesguidinglights lighthouses and of course finished the evening with chips and badge presentations!

Brilliant weekend camping 🏕️ in Watcombe with Girlguiding SWE and lots of other Guides and Rangers from Devon, Somerset and Jersey.

We went body boarding, grass sledging, and had a silent disco. We earned badges, had a campfire (with jellycat fire instead of a real one) and managed to stay cool in the heat.

Thank you to everyone who made it happen and to the Guides for giving everything a go and being a great team!

We had a great tidy-up day at Betts today. Thank you to everyone who came along to help.

There’s one task we didn’t manage and that was putting up our flagpole outside as we don’t have a long enough ladder…

Is anyone with a ladder able to pop along one day in the next few weeks to volunteer and help us please?

Please pop down and offer an hour of your time if you can to help us tackle our odd jobs list. All help is appreciated by our volunteers and members!

We’re also sorting lost property so if you’re missing something please pop in to collect! We have A LOT of coats….!! 🧥

👟 Trainers on - it’s the Plymouth Half this weekend!🥇

One of our Guide leaders, Lynn, is running on Sunday to raise money for our kitchen project, helping us to make it accessible and fit for use for all our Girlguiding members.

Cheer her on if you’re out there on Sunday and if you can sponsor her it will really give her and the kitchen project a brilliant boost.

It’s nearly time for our morning to spruce up our meeting place!

Can you lend a couple of hours of your time to help us look after Betts for the local community including our Girlguiding members and volunteers?

We have a list of DIY jobs, cleaning tasks and general tidying that we could really do with some help to get done.

We’d love to see you there - we’ll pop the kettle on ready! ☕️ 🔨 🧹

You can buy extras for family members or friends too if you want to go out together to look for the clues!

All the money raised supports our fundraising to improve our kitchen facilities at Betts making it more accessible and fit for purpose.
