👧🛝 Help Shape the Future of Play in Plymouth! 🌳⚽

As your local Honicknowle Ward Councillors, we're encouraging residents, parents, grandparents, carers, young people and community groups to have their say in Plymouth City Council's "Play in our Places" survey.

Play is so important for children's health, wellbeing, confidence and development. It's also a wonderful way for families to spend time together and for children to enjoy the outdoors and connect with nature.

Plymouth City Council is developing a new Playable Spaces Strategy to help guide future investment in play areas across the city. They want to hear how you currently use play spaces, what you value most, and what improvements you'd like to see in the future.

Your views will help shape a network of play spaces that are:
• Inclusive and welcoming to everyone
• Safe and sustainable
• Rich in nature and opportunities for adventure
• Designed to meet the needs of children and families across Plymouth

This survey is about the future of play across the city, rather than reporting maintenance issues at individual play parks. If you know families, schools, youth groups or young people who would be interested, please encourage them to take part too. We'd especially like to see as many young people as possible having their voices heard.

Every response will help build a stronger picture of what Plymouth's communities want from their play spaces in the years ahead.

Thank you for taking the time to get involved and help shape the future of play in our city.
