🤢 Reform UK have reinstated Ben Rowe.

You’ll remember him as the Plymouth councillor suspended just days after being elected following reports of alleged social media posts featuring antisemitic conspiracy theories, anti-Muslim comments, blackface memes and references to immigrants “breeding like rats”.

His case was investigated by Reform UK’s National Discipline Committee.

The result?

He’s been readmitted to the party, had the whip restored, and is back in Reform’s council group.

According to Plymouth Reform leader Steve Ricketts, the disciplinary process was followed and the matter is now “resolved”.

Resolved? 🤔

This wasn’t an attack from political opponents. Reform suspended him themselves because the allegations were serious enough to require immediate action.

Now they’ve investigated the case and decided he’s fit to represent the party after all.

So when Nigel Farage talks about standards, professionalism and values, voters should pay attention to what Reform does, not what it says.

Because the most revealing part of this story isn’t the suspension.

It’s the reinstatement.

That was a choice.

And Reform UK have made theirs. 🤷‍♂️

Where is Reform councillor Nicholas Humphries? 🤔

Since being elected in May 2025, Cllr Humphries has been almost completely invisible.

Residents say they can’t get replies. Ward events go unattended. Local issues pile up. Yet the £16,000 councillor allowance still rolls in.

Attendance at formal meetings since last May? Just 58%.

That works out at more than £1,000 per meeting attended. 💸

Meanwhile, the other ward councillor is being left to cover everything for a ward of 14,000 people:
🗑️ Waste and rubbish
🏫 Schools
🚧 Roads and pavements
🏠 Housing and planning
💷 Funding
🧑‍⚕️ Social care
…and everything else residents need help with.

Every party has good councillors and bad councillors. And maybe there’s a good reason for his invisibility cloak. But Reform should take more responsibility.

Kingsley and Semilong deserve councillors who at least actually show up and answer emails.
They deserve better than Reform.
