Are you a HOUSE DANCER aged 8+ based in the South-West? Or are you a South-West based dancer that wants to push yourself with House?
This is your chance to possibly join 'HOUSE OF GROOVE'!
Open to ALL South-West dancers from all dance companies 🙌🏻
▪️Stay active and train regularly alongside other like-minded House dancers, and be mentored individually to reach your full potential as a House dancer.
▪️Perform and battle all over the UK; as well as internationally. You will also be featured in our upcoming House concept videos.
All we ask is that you are aged 8+, are committed and already have at least a basic knowledge of House Dance foundation👌🏻

The collective was set up by Drew Shears in 2013 with the aim of bringing together House Dancers from all over the South-West to train together regularly, encourage each other and help our South-West House Dance scene grow 🌱
This is in addition to providing big opportunities for our House community 💪🏻
As a result, Devon and Cornwall is now highly regarded as a hotspot for House Dance talent in the UK 🇬🇧
The success we have had over the past 6 years has exceeded our initial expectations, and over these years we have had 30+ ‘House Of Groove’ members that have trained, performed and battled with us! 💚
We have only just calculated some of our battle stats since 2013... Here they are:
▪️ 18 BATTLE WINS from 9 DIFFERENT DANCERS 🏆
▪️ 17 FINALISTS (separate from the battle winners) from 11 DIFFERENT DANCERS 🙌🏻
These battle credits include ‘World Of Dance’, Red Bull ‘Dance Your Style,’ House Dance UK, UDO British Championships and regional battles, ‘What You Got?!’, ‘Get Hype,’ SOAR Championships, Dance Showdown, i.Battle, Shine, Floor Warriors and ‘Find Your Groove’ battle events 💪🏻

As well as battling all over the UK and performing all over the south-west, we have also made it our mission to spread our knowledge all across Devon and Cornwall; with Drew teaching workshops and classes at numerous dance companies, as well as teaching the teachers...
Some of them their very first House steps!
Last year, Drew also taught his first House workshop internationally in Malaga, Spain 🇪🇸
Our reputation has continued to rapidly grow, with the standard of our dancers and training, and next generation in particular, being critically acclaimed by some of the world’s finest House dancers 🌍
We also brought some of these world-class dancers to the south-west to further benefit everyone and their training, as well as organising the biggest battle event ever held in Devon and Cornwall 💫

➡️ 8 of the Top 16 for the House Battles at ‘Get Hype! Circle Burnerz - Plymouth Edition’ were from House Of Groove, who then progressed to the Quarters, Semi and Final.
