🚆 The South West MYPs are heading to Hull! 🏛️

Next Tuesday, our South West Members of Youth Parliament will be travelling to the University of Hull for the UK Youth Parliament Annual Conference 2026! 🎉

Over three days, MYPs from across the UK will come together to learn, share ideas, represent the young people in their areas and, most importantly, debate the issues that matter to young people. 🗣️

Following the national vote, three motions have been selected for debate:

🧠 Mental Health, Wellbeing & Safe Spaces
👊 Anti-Hate Crime & Anti-Discrimination Education
💼 Jobs & Your Future – Employability, Apprenticeships, Work Experience & Routes into Opportunity

Our MYPs will work together to develop these motions, debate them and ultimately vote on which issue will become the UK Youth Parliament's national campaign.

They'll also take part in workshops, training, networking and activities throughout the conference.

We're incredibly proud to be supporting the South West MYPs as they take the voices and experiences of young people from across our region to Hull. 🌟

Good luck to everyone travelling — we can't wait to see you there! 💙

🎉 Meet the South West's new Members of Youth Parliament (MYPs)! 🎉

We're delighted to introduce the young people who will be representing the voices of young people across the South West through the UK Youth Parliament over the coming year.

These passionate young leaders will be working with their local communities, decision-makers and fellow young people to champion the issues that matter most to them.

We look forward to supporting them on their UKYP journey and seeing the impact they make both regionally and nationally.

Congratulations to all of our newly elected MYPs and Deputy MYPs 👏
