🏃‍♂️❤️ Supporting HCPT Group 150 ❤️🏃‍♂️

We’re excited to share that 3 people from Greenergy Plymouth Team will be taking on the Plymouth Half Marathon on 17th May 2026 to raise funds for HCPT Group 150! 🙌

HCPT is a wonderful charity that gives disabled and disadvantaged children the opportunity to travel to Lourdes for what is so often described as the best week of their year 🇫🇷✨ A week full of friendship, fun, laughter and memories that last a lifetime.

Group 150 is proud to be part of this, supporting children who may not otherwise get the chance to experience such a special trip 💙

💜 Month of the Military Child 💜

April is the Month of the Military Child, and we would like to take a moment to share our heartfelt thanks to the Naval Children’s Charity.

Over the past three years, their generous support and funding has enabled so many military children to join HCPT Group 150 Royal Navy and HCPT Group 186 Portsmouth Royal Navy on our wonderful trip to Lourdes 🇫🇷✨ These opportunities create memories, friendships and experiences that truly last a lifetime.

We are incredibly grateful for the difference they have made to our children and families, and for helping us continue to provide such a special week year after year 💙❤️💛

At the Naval Children’s Charity, our vision is that the 100,000 children of serving and veterans Royal Navy and Royal Marines families have their spirit and talent unlocked, giving them a brighter future and helping them to realise their full potential.

An ordinary girl who saw something extraordinary.

Today, 16th April, is the Feast Day of Saint Bernadette.

Saint Bernadette of Lourdes was just 14 when she saw Our Lady at the Grotto, a simple “yes” that would change Lourdes forever.

Today, that same spirit lives on in HCPT where young people serve with love and discover everyday miracles in the smallest moments.

💙🇫🇷 Day 7 in Lourdes 🇫🇷💙

Our final full day together has been filled with some truly special moments ✨

This morning we visited the Grotto for our group candle ceremony 🕯️ – a beautiful and reflective time where each member of the group lit their own candle. A really meaningful experience for us all.

Afterwards, we enjoyed some shopping time 🛍️ to spend our pennies and pick up souvenirs to remember this amazing week.

In the afternoon, we travelled up to the stunning Hosanna House 🌿 where we met some adorable baby farm animals 🐑, played games and came together for our Armed Forces Regional Farewell Mass 🙏

The fun continued with a lively karaoke party 🎤 – it was fantastic to see all the children getting involved and sharing their favourite songs!

We then enjoyed a brilliant pizza night picnic 🍕 back at the hotel before gathering for our final prayers on the stairs. It was so special to hear everyone share their favourite moments and the memories they’ll be taking home 💫

After a quick visit to the Castle this morning 🏰, it will be time for the journey home… but what an unforgettable week it has been ❤️

✨🇫🇷 Day 6 in Lourdes 🇫🇷✨

This morning we attended the HCPT 70th Anniversary Trust Mass 🙏💙 – a truly magical and special experience. There were moments of reflection, joy and togetherness that made it unforgettable for everyone.

After lunch, we headed to the prairie for our regional Togetherfest 🌿☀️ with the rest of our region. The sun was shining as we enjoyed lots of games, laughter, and some well-earned chill time too 😄

It’s hard to believe that tomorrow is our last full day together 😢 – we’re making sure to soak up every moment of this incredible week.
