A wonderful Burns Night to remember at Boringdon Park Golf Club.
From the piper’s welcome to the lively dancing, it was an evening filled with great food, warm company, and generous support, all while raising money for The Chestnut Appeal for Men’s Health.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it such a success. If you would like to be part of future events and give back to the community, we would be delighted to welcome you to the Rotary Club of Plympton.

What a night!
The Rotary Club of Plympton’s Burns Night Supper at Boringdon Park Golf Club was a huge success, with around 90 guests enjoying great food, wonderful company, and a packed dance floor right to the end.
From the piper’s entrance and President Robert Prentice’s address to the haggis to the lively band, entertaining readings, speeches, and plenty of laughs, it was an evening to remember.

Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we raised over £2,600 for The Chestnut Appeal , helping fund a prostate screening programme at Plymouth Argyle on 21 March 2026 — a fantastic result 👏
Huge thanks to everyone who came along, donated, supported the raffle, and especially the small but mighty team who spent months working behind the scenes to make it all happen.

Thank you everyone for coming out to see Santa last night and for your very kind donations to our charities.
Also a huge thank you to Woodford Primary PTFA, and Plympton Academy (team Kenya) in addition to our other team members who supported the rounds. We realise that this is a particularly busy time of year for everyone and your help is really very much appreciated.

In our 71st year of Plympton Santa Rounds, team Plympton Rotary, and our terrific volunteers have successfully completed the Elford Crescent with Plympton Cricket Club Round. Santa did great job as did his collectors. Thank you. A huge thank you to our regular Rotary helpers some of whom gave up their time once again.

On behalf of our Club, our President, Robert Prentice (left) was very happy to hand over a cheque of £500 to David Squires (right) from The Chestnut Appeal. We are looking forward to working closely with them and supporting some of their projects.
