EDI Workshops

Creating interactive and engaging workshop sessions for dental students to explore and better understand equality, diversity, and inclusion in real world healthcare settings.

Exploring Health with Year 1 Medical Student
Introducing students to mentors and role models who support health and wellbeing across our communities. These early learning experiences are transformative!

Partnerships and networks
Building relationships and taking an active part in health and wellbeing initiatives is a cornerstone of our work. Creating meaningful impact where it matters most.

✨ Meet Wendy ✨

Wendy leads Well Connected with clear focus: bringing people together to improve health and wellbeing.

With strong belief in power of collaboration, Wendy works across education, community engagement, and healthcare to ensure that people are always at the heart of everything we do. Her contribution to engagement, outreach and education was recgnised in 2018 when she was awarded an MBE for services to oral health promotion and dental education.

From supporting students to working alongside communities and partners, her role is all about connection, impact, and creating opportunities.

"It's about making sure people feel heard, valued, and part of something meaningful."

Over the coming weeks, we'll be sharing more about the people behind Well Connected and the work happening every day.

What a great way to end the week!
Wendy delivered a ‘lunch and learn’ session with the fabulous team at Eilertsen Dental Care Plymouth
The team enjoyed the ‘connecting’ themed activity which led to lots of interesting conversations about making a difference and encouraging happy and healthy smiles.
