We've done it! Thanks to your support, we have hit our crowdfunder target of £50,000 - 6 days early!

Amazing news!! - The City Change Fund has awarded us match funding meaning we are now at 81% of our £50k goal.

Thank you so much to every generous donor, partner and community member who believe in our dream and have invested to make this a reality.

But our Crowdfunder is ALL OR NOTHING.

We still need just under £10,000 in the next 13 days to unlock all the pledged funding and make this project a reality.

Every donation - big or small - moves us closer.

Every share and like helps us reach someone new!

Please keep sharing, if you can give - please do, and help us cross the finish line together. ❤️ Livewell Southwest.

You may have noticed we have been quiet on social media over the last few months. We have been working towards consolidating our space and expanding our services.

We have taken the opportunity to rent Community Hub at Swarthmore Hall alongside our partners: Plymouth Vineyard Church, Radical Ecology, Children’s Storehouse and Livewell Southwest to create a space for the local community and our beneficiaries.

We have successfully shared a space with Plymouth Vineyard and the Children's Storehouse for the last few years and want to continue this great relationship.

Our partnerships with Radical Ecology's Diversity in Gardens and Livewell Southwest Mental Health Team grow from strength to strength and being able to share space with one another is a natural next step for us.

Whilst our services are different, we recognise that we help one another and by being in the same place we will be more effective, together.

Swarthmore is HUGE! There is a large hall, stage, commercial kitchen, a cafe and exhibition space, 3 new artist studios and over 20 offices to host our staff, volunteers and beneficiaries. To get this all over the line we are asking for your help with some of the building costs to bring everything together. We expect to do this in a few stages - with phase one expected to cost around £50,000.

We are expected to get match funded by Plymouth City Council so every £1 you donate will be doubled!

Even if you cannot afford to donate please do share this post far and wide to your friends, family, neighbours and anyone else you know who could help!

We are so excited to move into this new space and everything it can offer to the communities we have served for the last 27 years.

In the first half of 2025, we hosted 117 activities in our aim to provide a holistic system of support to people seeking sanctuary in Devon and Cornwall.

From hiking to canoeing to cooking, it cannot be overstated how vital these days are to the mental wellbeing of our service users. To all of our partners who made this possible, we send our gratitude.
