Barbican Theatre is a dynamic charity established in 1980. Young people and the development of creative skills are at the heart of all that we do. Our ambition has been to raise the standard of dance and theatre performance being produced by, with and for young people. We seek to challenge what traditional notions of theatre and dance are and liberate the imagination of young people to create fresh and exciting work that comes from new and unusual voices – voices that are often unheard.

Before he was an award-winning stand-up, Danny Ward worked on the Hollywood movie The Holiday. Then he went on holiday himself — and realised his trip had a few uncanny parallels to the film.

The sleeper hit of the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe, The Holiday won the Ish Comedy Award Panel Prize for Best Show. Expect behind-the-scenes gossip about everyone's favourite Christmas movie, and the story of why his own holiday started to feel a little too familiar.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Wow, just wow! A talented writer and storyteller... my must see of this year's fringe" — One4review.co.uk

⭐⭐⭐⭐"A rather lovely piece of storytelling... exceptional" — Chortle.co.uk

100 voices. Two choirs. One night.

Wheelhouse Folk Choir from Tavistock and Plymouth's own Great Sea Choir come together for the first time, directed by folk duo Suthering. Fresh from their debut EP releases which picked up BBC radio airplay and glowing press reviews, this is a raw and powerful performance rooted in folk music but spanning a wide range of genres — a show that urges us all to look for hope and unity during dark times.

"In a world which feels as if it's slowly growing darker, these small yet beautifully crafted musical gems are the glimmer of light we all need." — Sam Blackledge, ITV

Tonight at the Barbican. Doors 7.30pm.

Britain didn't collapse overnight - it just slowly came apart. Jobs disappeared, trust faded, and then the Urban Regeneration Programme arrived, slipping quietly into people's lives and calling it order. Five strangers find connection in a world designed to keep them apart.

Don't miss Touched - only a few tickets left for tonight, grab them whilst you can!
