As soon as the sun comes out, the 'summer body' content starts.

Fitness routines, transformation posts, before and afters. Most of it is well-intentioned, but that doesn't mean it's easy to scroll through, especially if your relationship with your body is already a complicated one.

Research shows that 'fit-spiration' and athletic content can decrease self-esteem in over a third of people exposed to it. It doesn't have to be explicitly about weight or appearance to have an impact.

If your feed is starting to feel like a lot, it's okay to curate it. Unfollow, mute, step away. You're not obligated to consume content that makes you feel worse about yourself.

And if this time of year tends to bring up difficult feelings around food or your body, please don't sit with it alone.

When someone you care about is struggling with an eating disorder, it can be hard to know what to do.

But support doesn't have to be about food or treatment or saying the right thing. Sometimes it's much simpler than that.

Checking in just to say you're thinking of them. Suggesting a walk instead of a meal out. Taking the time to understand what they're going through so they don't have to explain it from scratch every time.

Thes remind someone they're not alone in it - and that matters more than most people realise.

If you're worried about someone and want some guidance on how best to support them, get in touch 🩵

If you saw someone struggling to carry something heavy, you'd probably just help. You wouldn't overthink it.

But when the weight is emotional, most of us hesitate. We worry about intruding, saying the wrong thing, or making it awkward. So we leave it, hoping they'll bring it up themselves.

For someone with an eating disorder, that silence can be really difficult. Shame already makes asking for help feel out of reach, knowing someone noticed but said nothing can make it feel even harder.

If you're worried about someone, you don't need the right words. You just need to say something. And if you or someone you know needs support, we're here to help guide you through the next steps 🩵

On mental health awareness day today, we’ve been wearing green in the office to show our support 💚

Raising awareness around issues that affect our mental health is at the core of what we do, especially when it comes to breaking down stereotypes and misconceptions.

We want to take the chance to highlight that whatever you’re going through, you’re not alone!

Recovery doesn't look the way most people expect it to.

It's not a decision you make once and then everything falls into place. It's good days and hard days, and days where it feels like you've gone backwards. And that can make the whole thing feel pointless sometimes.

But every step you take is still a step. Reaching out when you weren't sure you were ready. Turning up when you really didn't want to. Telling one person how you're actually feeling. Those things all matter, even when they don't feel like enough.

And if you've been in touch with us before, that's okay too. You can reach back out after three months, no questions asked, no shame in it. Recovery isn't always linear, and neither is getting support.

You don't have to have it figured out to start. The first step is enough, and so is taking that step again. We're here when you're ready 🩵

Knowing someone you care about is struggling and not knowing what to do is one of the hardest feelings.

Most of us worry we'll say the wrong thing or make it worse - so we end up doing nothing at all. But you don't need the perfect words. You just need to do something small.

Send a text. Suggest a coffee. Ask how they really are and give them the space to answer honestly. Turn up, even if you don't know what to say when you get there.

None of these things will fix everything. But they remind someone that they're not invisible - and that can mean more than you'd expect.

If you're worried about someone and think they need more support, we're here to help 🩵
