We wrapped up our first half term of the school year with a challenging circuits session at Mary Dean's yesterday!

We worked in pairs to take on 2 tough 5 station circuits, bringing together what we've worked on over the half term, trying some new things and giving everyone a chance to hold and strike the pads too! 💪

We've had a brilliant and engaged group who have worked so well together, leading their own warmups, asking great questions and supporting each other every week too! Well done everyone! 👏

Our after school clubs are back! 🥳💪

We are fully booked at Mary Dean’s Primary School this half term with a fantastic mixed group of students, from reception to year 5!

With the weather on our side, we took today's session outside to make the most of the sun and some fresh air! As well as working on our kicks and punches, we learned about showing respect to our peers, counting in Japanese and we had a lot of fun playing with the balls too! Everyone tried really hard, listened well and had a brilliant first session back!

We had a brilliant session last night, joining up with Holistic Beatz for an evening of self defence and meditation! 💪🧘‍♀️

We had a lovely group, some coming back for a refresher, some joining us for the first time but everyone got stuck in, doing an excellent job with the self defence, enjoying a lovely guided meditation and tucking into the yummy cake left from Kerrie's super successful Macmillan Cancer Support coffee morning too! 💚

It was great to be back with the Young Adult Carers Service Plymouth group at Improving Lives Plymouth last night! We had a lot of fun testing our reactions against each other in some friendly, not at all competitive, warm up games 😉

We smashed the pads with our fantastic volunteer, Alex, and tried out some new activities with the resistance bands and, new favourite, weighted balls!

Well done to everyone for getting involved and making it such an enjoyable and energetic session! 💪💥
