FitzRoy - On Track Petersfield

Last night our OnTrack Drama Group performed their 2026 show, Stars in Their Eyes ⭐🎭

This year the Drama Group decided not to put on one of their usual big shows, but they still really wanted the opportunity to perform for their families and friends. So, we kept things a little more low-key and brought the show to OnTrack.

And what a lovely evening it was! There were some fantastic performances, lots of laughter and plenty of special moments.

We were also so pleased to welcome families and friends who came along to watch and support everyone.

We are so proud of our Drama Group and everyone who has supported them in getting everything ready for the show. From costumes and tickets to props, food and all the behind-the-scenes organising, so much goes into making an evening like this happen.

A huge well done to everyone involved. You were all amazing! ⭐🎭❤️👏

It’s taken us a little while to find the right words to share this very sad news regarding the passing of Alan Knight.

Alan was a true legend and a wonderful gentleman who gave so much of his time and support to adults with learning disabilities at Fitzroy OnTrack.

Alan regularly visited us at OnTrack, often bringing the Portsmouth Cup along for our members to see. He also kindly arranged for our members to visit Portsmouth Football Club, where they had the opportunity to look around the stadium, meet the players and experience some very special moments.

He always went above and beyond to make our members feel included and valued. Alan regularly signed footballs and donated memorabilia for us to use towards our raffles, which was incredibly generous and very much appreciated by everyone at OnTrack.

Alan will be remembered with great fondness for his kindness, generosity and the wonderful memories he helped create for our members.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Alan’s family and loved ones at this incredibly difficult time.

Rest peacefully, Alan. You truly were a legend and will be greatly missed. 💙⚽

⚠️ Heat Alert Update ⚠️

The Red Heat Alert has now been extended until 11:00pm tomorrow evening.

While Ontrack remains open we would recommend that those who are able to safely remain at home consider doing so during this period of extreme heat.

For anyone attending the service, please wear loose, lightweight clothing.

Our teams are working hard to keep everyone as cool, comfortable, and safe as possible throughout the day. We are providing plenty of fluids, remaining indoors, and offering low-impact activities to help reduce the effects of the heat. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and take appropriate measures to support the wellbeing of the people who attend our services and our staff.

If you have any questions or concerns about attending, please contact the team.

Stay safe and keep cool. ☀️💧
