What a brilliant day! ⛳️

A huge thank you to everyone who took part in our King's Arms Charity Golf Day, donated, sponsored us or helped make the day happen.

We're so pleased to share that the money raised will fully fund our Monday After School Club for the coming year!

For many young people, our After School clubs are a first step through the door at The King's Arms. They give young people a safe place to come, have fun, make friends and spend time with trusted adults. From there, we can get to know them and help connect them with the other support groups we have that's right for them.

A very special thank you to Bob and Larissa for all their hard work organising the day, and to Hindhead Golf Club for hosting us.

Last week we asked for help gathering art supplies for some of our groups. We posted a list and attached our Amazon Wish list. Since then we have received a package nearly every day! We are so blown away by the generosity of our community. Thank you to everyone who shared our post, donated and ordered supplies to our front door.

Our post reached one of our young people, Flo. She and her mum Bex Stafferton went out of their way to give back to KA and to invest in the young people here. Thank you both so much.

We also had many anonymous donations so thank you if you were behind these!!

Thank you to Claire for the array of supplies! And to Tracey and her partner Trevor! We cannot wait to get the young people stuck in.

On 18 October, Mark is taking on the Great South Run to raise money for The King’s Arms Youth Project.

Mark works with young people at King’s Arms and sees the impact of the project every week. He’s now putting himself through 10 miles to help support the work we do.

Hello lovely Facebook community
As the new term rolls on, we find ourselves with even more young people wanting to spend time at KA. So far over 50 new young people have entered our doors since the start of this month!

We have two pleas:
1. We are look for volunteers to help with a couple of our programmes in Petersfield. They are all term-time only =)
SuperSonics Wednesdays 5:15 - 7:15pm - SEN
Thrive Tuesday evenings - Wellbeing
KAnteen Mondays 1:45 - 2:45pm - Wellbeing
Friday morning Aspire - Group mentoring

2. We're looking for items that young people can use during sessions to help them relax, connect and build confidence as we mentor them. Things like:

Diamond art kits
Paint-by-number sets
Paint-a-mug kits
Paint-a-plate kits
Friendship bracelet kits
Cross-stitch or embroidery kits
Scrapbooking supplies
Jewellery-making kits
Adult colouring books and pens
Air-dry clay
Mosaic kits
Candle decorating kits
Any other creative craft activities people may have tucked away and no longer use!

If anyone has any unopened or good-condition kits they would be willing to donate, we'd be incredibly grateful. Donations can simply be dropped off at King's Arms.

Thank you so much for helping us spread the word. These activities make such a difference in creating a calm, positive space where young people can unwind, chat and support their wellbeing.

We were donated a 10/10 pool table this week.
Mark kindly put it together in our Petersfield centre. The young people are loving it !

We love games here at KA! Silly ones that get you moving, lateral thinking, strategic building and much more... games are a great way to break the ice, make friends and have fun of course! 🤪
Our Thrive group built this skyscraper today in “Rhino Hero”, it got to 8 wobbly levels before it all came tumbling down 🏗️🧱
