Looking for a bit of help!

Does anyone know someone who specialises in business plans? We have our BlueSkate business plan pretty much completed, but we’d really like someone with experience to have a look over it, help fine-tune it, and get it finalised.

It’s one of the main things holding us back from moving forward just now, so any recommendations or tags would be hugely appreciated. Thanks! 😊

Hello I’m Craig I’m 39 years old. I have been part blueskate from nearly the beginning and I have been skating on and off for 20 plus years.

Thanks to blueskate I have now become a qualified coach and I am looking forward to helping the future generation of up and coming skaters. I am looking forward to helping blueskate with its goals and beyond with the great team of people that we have

One of our longer members of the team is Danny our Board member 🛹

I’m Danny, I’m 30 years old with 2 kids. I first got involved with Blueskate in 2019 when we first came back on the scene, I was appointed chairman at the time but eventually stepped down after having my first born and stepped down to become a member.

I’m a very keen skater and have been doing it most of my life. In 2025 I stepped up again and became a board member/ trustee and thanks to Blueskate I’m now a skateboard GB certified coach and I’m very keen for Blueskate to hold some beginner lessons to get people into skateboarding.

The need for a park is huge and the passion I and everyone at Blueskate is bigger than ever. We want to make it as family friendly as possible with a positive environment and community based place.

Introducing Steph the Vice Chair;

I'm Steph, Vice Chair for Blueskate Peterhead. I joined the team in June 2025 following a call for new members.

My main reason for being involved is my daughter Josie, skateboarding is her passion and if you frequent local pump tracks or skateparks then the likelihood is you've seen Sk8r Quine in action. I'm the one sitting for hours or videoing her for her Instagram!

Through her skateboarding I see how much these spaces and the community mean to her and those who use them. They provide a safe space, somewhere to socialise and meet others with a shared interest, improve health and wellbeing and most of all, be yourself. The bonds she has made and the support and encouragement she receives is invaluable and I know so many will feel the same.

Bringing a skatepark back to Peterhead will not only give Josie and others the opportunity to thrive in their chosen sport, with the possibility to progress to a competitive level, but also give the community a much needed space to bring people together.

I'm a big advocate for not only building a skatepark but building a strong community through events, coaching, etc and an inclusive space for all.

Meet the team behind the redevelopment of the Skatepark..

First we have our Chairman Tasha;

Im Natasha, most call me Tasha. Im 32 with 2 children. A 15 year old daughter and a 13 year old son.

I first got involved with the skatepark back in 2022, when my son was there every single day. I’d sit up on the mound watching him, and it quickly became a big part of our daily life.

I was asked if I’d help with fundraising, and my answer was simple, I’d do anything to help.

By 2024, I found myself really enjoying being more involved, especially selling the merch. I loved being able to share our story, speak to people about the skatepark, and hear their thoughts and support. It gave me a real sense of purpose and connection to the community.

Then in 2025, I was asked to step into the role of Chairman by the team. It’s something I’m incredibly proud of.

Now, more than ever, I’m passionate about what we’re trying to achieve. This isn’t just about a skatepark, it’s about creating something for the kids, for families, and for our whole town. I’m determined to help make a new skatepark a reality.
