They'll be snacks, games and hopefully a Peterhead themed project in the works if we get enough young people since one of our sessions overlaps with Peterhead Scottish Week

This event is being hosted by myself and an Aberdeenshire Community Learning and Development Youth worker. So please encourage your young person (12-18) to come along.

They'll be games, snacks, conversation and more!

We Are Peterhead is carrying out a targeted deep clean of Marischal Street and Drummers Corner this week, helping to freshen up the town centre ahead of Scottish Week.

Contractors have been working through the night to power wash pavements and soft wash benches, street furniture and planters. Following Aberdeenshire Council’s w**d spray last month, w**ds will also be removed to further improve the appearance of the area.

This is the first stage of a long-term coordinated effort by We Are Peterhead, working in partnership with Aberdeenshire Council and local community groups. Going forward, we will work to ensure that a combination of enhanced Council services, volunteering opportunities and specialist contractors will help keep both the town centre and the wider town looking its best.

Looking for something to do this summer? ☀️

Think there is nothing on offer for young people in Peterhead? 🤷‍♀️

Well, this summer we are inviting young people 12-18 to join us at The Space (Unit 8 Drummers Corner) from 1-3pm on Monday the 20th of July and Tuesday the 28th of July

We hope to provide a space for young people to meet new people, hang out with friends, participate in activities (games, crafts etc)including an aberdeenshire themed activity, explore 'The Space -' a venue designed with young people in mind has to offer

Snacks and refreshments will be included at this event 😋
