Jacky’s been living with cancer for over 30 years.

After she was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1994, Jacky went on to face multiple cancer diagnoses, including non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Thanks to advances in research and treatments, including rituximab, she's been able to enjoy many more years with a better quality of life.

Reflecting on her journey, Jacky says: “Cancer Research UK has achieved so much through amazing research, saving lives from this cruel disease and giving patients back their lives. There can’t be a better gift than being able to continue living after fearing you may lose your life.”

Because of the difference research has made to her own life, Jacky has chosen to pledge a gift in her Will to support our work.

Today is International Legacy Giving Day - Thank you to everyone who has made a pledge. Thanks to your support, we can keep researching new treatments, like those that Jacky received.

Gift in Wills funds over a third of our life-saving work, helping researchers find new ways to prevent, detect and treat cancer for future generations.

We're sending our thanks today to all those who have left or have pledged to leave a gift in their Will. You'll help give more people the chance to live longer, better lives after cancer.
