Animals who come to Blaikiewell are not rehomed. The horses live and roam around 80 acres of fields, and beautiful valley in the friendship groups they form. This natural lifestyle makes such a tranquil environment for the many elderly equine residents who are rescued or retired. The peace and security horses discover once they have settled into one of our herds is very therapeutic for horses who have come to us having suffered mental and/or physical trauma.
