Peterchurch Village Hall is a community building, run by a small committee of dedicated trustees. It is the ideal venue for local events and activities and is available for hire from £10 an hour. As well as hosting many a birthday party, the hall has a few regular user groups which include a Monday Coffee Morning run by The Friends of The Golden Valley Day Care, where people can drop in for a frie
ndly chat and a cuppa. An Art Club for adults (Monday evenings and Friday mornings). Move with the Groove Dance/Exercise classes are on Thursday mornings and Hatha Yoga is available on Wednesday evenings. We always welcome new groups! The hall also regularly hosts music evenings, Whist and Bingo. The building was refurbished several years ago with the provision of a new catering kitchen, new timber floors throughout and disabled access and toilet facilities. - accessibility for the disabled was built-in to every aspect of the design. Improvements have continued with the installation of of an environmentally-friendly air-sourced heating system, solar panels on the roof, double glazing throughout and more recently a high quality Audiol/Visual system, including a hearing loop, was installed in the Main Hall.
