We had a fantastic Celebration Event on Sunday - rain did not stop play! - a sincere THANK YOU to everyone that attended, along with everyone who has donated their time, money and/or labour to our new almshouses project. We are so very lucky to have such a caring and generous community in Warmington.

Also a big thank you to our existing almshouses residents for all their help and support too. We know that you will welcome new residents with open arms.

We raised nearly £500 on Sunday which will all go towards the completion of Phase 2. We are still very much fundraising, so if you are able to support then check out our Just Giving page: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/two-homes-for-warmington

Here are a selection of photos from Sunday - thanks Lester Milbank Photography for these!

One year ago we could not have imagined that within 12 months our charity would have received an astonishing gift of a house in our village and, with the help of many hardworking and generous local tradesfolk, volunteers, and donors, renovated it to create the first of two new almshouses. There are too many to mention here, but a huge THANK YOU from us.

We are delighted that the very first resident to 1 Church Lane has moved in this week. You can see the extraordinary transformation that has taken place in our photos.

We are hosting a celebration and fundraising event in the front gardens of the original almshouses on Sunday 27 September, 2-4pm, and everyone in our community is welcome. Cakes, fizz, homemade preserves and a raffle will be on the cards.

We are still raising funds to help us complete No 2 Church Lane as soon as possible, so we can get a new resident moved in. See our JustGiving page here: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/two-homes-for-warmington
