Due to Covid-19 we changed the way we worked in order to adhere to government guidelines and keep staff and participants as safe as possible. We therefore, stopped promoting any projects, due to the need to keep numbers safe. However, now as restrictions are being lifted we are able to utilise the centre more -
* Saturdays, 10 - 1pm, free Open Access Play sessions for families and children aged
5 (in school year 1) to their 13th birthday. Unless very wet, currently this project takes place in the garden of Crofts Corner and any parents or carers are welcome to register their children, but we are limiting numbers still.
* Saturdays, 2 - 4pm, free youth work project for young people aged 12 - 19. Young people can participate in a variety of activities and help plan future programmes.
* Monday to Friday in term time, we deliver the Flipside Project in partnership with schools, where we provide positive activities for children and young people.
* During the summer holidays we will be providing four weeks of free activities for children and young people, details will be shared in early June.
* As Crofts Corner is not the sort of venue that can be hired for private functions or other groups to hire, in order to sustain the centre we work in partnership with the Dog Play Company. This is a successful project and helps with the security and running costs of Crofts Corner.
* We also work in partnership with Right Resolution CIC who are based at Crofts Corner and support their 16+ Drop-in Project for young people who are care leavers.
* We also have a goodwill project called Let's Get Going, whereby we visit young people and families (safely) and help them access food parcels. For more information please contact Cherry Lester on 07851424925.
