Celebrating two and a half years of the wonderful Peterborough Collective! ✨

We couldn’t be prouder of our 7 young creatives who have stepped out in voice leadership, creating the Culture Talks podcast, interviewing artists, cultural leaders and youth groups across Peterborough to dispel the myth that ‘there is nothing going on’.

Two seasons of the Culture Talks podcast have shown that there is SO much rich and diverse creative activity happening here! It has been fantastic to watch our young leaders grow in skills and confidence as individuals and the bond they’ve created as a podcast team.

As they wrap up Season 2, we wish them the very best into new adventures and creative spaces!

Join us Sunday 13th September at Wild About festival and discover ‘Roots Between Us’, a new collaborative artwork by artists Jeffrey Choy, Preethi Ravichandran and Prabhuram Pundarikashan 🌱

Explore the interactive installation and weave natural materials into the artwork to help shape it throughout the festival. You can also take part in the artist-designed bookmark exchange. Leave a message of kindness, love or encouragement for someone else, and take one home written by another visitor.

From family histories and neighbourhood memories to music, traditions, performances and creative work, ‘Heritage Share: A World of Stories’ brings communities together to explore the stories that make up our city.

From 10th–19th September 2026, discover exhibitions, performances, talks, music, displays and opportunities to connect at venues across the city, including Peterborough Cathedral, St John’s Square, Peterborough Museum and Art Gallery and St John’s Church.

Six Peterborough community organisations, alongside their members and artists, have been working with Peterborough Museum and Art Gallery to publicly share important cultural and migration stories, helping to preserve and celebrate histories carried across generations.

Everyone is welcome! Come along, discover a story, share a story, and celebrate the many cultures and communities in our city ✨

Heritage Share is developed in partnership with Peterborough Cultural Alliance and supported by public funding from The National Lottery through Arts Council England.

We’re are delighted to share that we have received funding through Thriving Communities Fund.

The project will help primary school children in Peterborough discover more about water sustainability, putting their learning into action by creating nature friendly, climate-resilient spaces. Children and young people will be supported to care for, learn from, and enjoy these spaces for years to come.

We’re looking forward to delivering the project with Nene Park and environmental artist Rose Croft 🌳

Fast Friday, Ferry Meadows was buzzing with food, friends and conversation - and the Culture Talks podcast was there to capture it all!

The Peterborough Collective podcasters popped up at Foodie Friday last week to listen to the community and capture why Peterborough loves this greenspace for Culture Talks

Helping to showcase Peterborough’s creativity on the night were the incredible Rose (Rose Croft), Lee (Lee Mason) and Emily (Emily Bowers), turning the atmosphere into fantastic live art. We can’t wait to show you what they created!

Shout out to S O F for bringing her community-led art project Beetle-borough, and to our brilliant programme mentor Amy Nomvula for supporting the crew.
