As our followers will know Allama Iqbal is a huge inspiration to all of us here at Gladstone Connect. As we celebrate his birthday in November we would love to start some conversations based on his work - on nationality, on khudi, on mans place in the world....

We like to get active at Gladstone Connect - Allama Iqbal Centre. Last night the marvellous Zed from Dragon Tae Kwon Do joined us at Youth Connect. The kids loved learning to punch and kick. Today Girls Who Can tried fencing. In just over an hour we learned to stand on guard, thrust, lunge and parry. Thanks to all the team, Zed, Isha, Samia and Sameena, I wouldnt be able to do this without you. Thanks to Maslahah for the training and support. See you next week

Some days our groups get to do really exciting things. Today was one of the best. We joined Nathan “Nyces” Murdoch - street artist on Wenrworth Street to help him create a wonderful new mural. We will all always be really proud that everyone will get to see our work. There is still time to catch his exhibition at Peterborough Museum.
