A massive thank you to everyone who helped setup and run our 60 Years of Westwood event last Friday!

The exhibition of photos from Westwood's past along with various articles and memorabilia was a real talking point with lots of discussions about the history, memories being shared, and laughs a plenty.

It was a super busy day with entertainment from Candyfloss Entertainment, stilt-walker, DJ and Live music kept the vibe going, with plants from WestRaven Garden to bring a bit of greenery into the mix.

Setup and run by our WestRaven Community Group it really was a community run by and for local residents, well done everybody!

Come and see the exhibition of photos, articles and memorabilia, charting Westwoods history.

Plus music, dancing, face painting, balloons, BBQ and a children’s tea party, stalls and plants for sale from the WestRaven Community Garden, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

Our weekly men's club, or "men’s fire, wood, food and general tinkering around club" has been running for about 6 months now and it's a lovely welcoming atmosphere, with a group of guys coming in regularly.

We'd love to have some new people come along and get involved, it's very relaxed and there's always little projects to work on.

If this sounds like it might be your thing, don't wait, just pop down and see what it's all about, and if you know someone who might enjoy then please share it with them, the more the merrier!

This is a social club for men to cook food on an open fire, chat and get involved with carpentry and woodworking projects around the garden.
