Have you had a look at the draft Eye Neighbourhood Plan yet? It's an important document that is designed to shape the planning decisions that impact Eye’s future.

The review of the Neighbourhood plan is an opportunity to have your say and ensure the plan reflects our shared vision. Your feedback is essential before we submit the draft to Peterborough City Council.

You can view it online from the link below or refer to one of the printed copies available in the Leeds Hall, Manor Farm Community Centre, the library, and the church. Feedback can be submitted to [email protected]. The consultation period ends on Sunday, 21st June.

The Eye Neighbourhood Plan consultation is open and we need your feedback. You have until 21st June to send us your comments.

The plan is being developed to positively shape the development of our village over the next 10 years. Once adopted, the city council will need to take the plan into account when considering planning applications in Eye and Eye Green.

So please take time to look at the draft plan and submit your comments and feedback. Printed copies are available in the Leeds Hall, Manor Farm Community Centre, the church, and the library. An online copy is available from the link below.

The Neighbourhood Plan is being developed to positively shape the development of our village over the next 10 years. Once adopted, the city council will need to take the plan into account when considering planning applications in Eye and Eye Green.

We’ve now completed the Eye Neighbourhood Plan and submitted it to Peterborough City Council for independent examination.

The council will advise us if any changes are needed before the plan can proceed to a public referendum. Once approved, all registered voters in Eye and Eye Green will be invited to vote on whether the plan should be formally adopted.

If the majority vote “yes,” the Neighbourhood Plan will become a legally binding part of the planning framework—giving our community a stronger voice in shaping future development.
