Little Miracles is a parent led support group for families with children that have additional needs, disabilities and life limiting conditions. We run a purpose built centre at The Spinney, Hartwell Way, Ravensthorpe, Peterborough with daily support, play and advice sessions it would be great to see you there! The centre was built by DIY SOS and the community as part of the Children in Need millio

💙 The impact of your support in May 2026 💙

Every number tells a story.

Behind each statistic is a child, a young person or a family accessing the support they need to navigate the challenges that can come with additional needs, disabilities and life-limiting conditions.

During May, Little Miracles:

⭐ Supported 4,251 people through our sessions
⭐ Provided counselling to 108 individuals
⭐ Delivered 186 family support meetings
⭐ Delivered 48 specialist family support sessions

These figures represent families finding guidance, young people building confidence, parents accessing support, and communities coming together.

Thank you to everyone who supports Little Miracles. Your generosity helps us continue providing vital services and creating positive outcomes for families of children with additional needs, disabilities and life-limiting conditions.

💙 Making memories that will last a lifetime...

Last week, a group of Little Miracles families enjoyed a truly special evening at Colchester Zoo as part of the incredible Dreamnight event.

From feeding colourful birds and meeting fascinating animals up close, to dressing up as police officers, meeting superheroes, and sharing plenty of smiles along the way, the evening was packed with unforgettable moments!

For many families caring for a child with additional needs, disabilities, or life-limiting conditions, opportunities like these mean so much more than just a day out. They offer a chance to have fun together, build confidence, make connections, and create precious memories away from the challenges of everyday life.

Seeing the excitement, wonder, and pure joy on the faces of the children and young people throughout the evening was a wonderful reminder of why experiences like this matter so much.

A huge thank you to Colchester Zoo for their kindness, generosity, and for creating such a magical experience for so many families.💙

⭐ STARS Spotlight: ACTIVITIES ⭐

For many families, activities are about so much more than having fun.

They're an opportunity to make friends, build confidence, try new experiences and create special memories together.

At Little Miracles, our activities include everything from parent and child groups and after-school clubs to sports sessions, youth clubs, educational events, social events and family trips.

By providing inclusive activities where everyone is welcome, we help children and young people with additional needs, disabilities and life-limiting conditions feel connected, supported and part of a community that understands them.

💙 Because every child deserves the chance to play, learn, explore and feel like they belong.

💙 Thank You Friday 💙

This week we'd like to give a special shout out to Dexter and Sharpe Chartered Certified Accountants and everyone who supported their recent Charity Golf Day.

Thanks to the generosity of local businesses, sponsors, golfers and supporters, the event was a huge success and helped raise vital funds for Little Miracles. The fantastic day also helped take Dexter & Sharpe's fundraising total for Little Miracles to more than £7,000 this year! ⛳💙
