Calling all scaffolders!

We need your help to make this year’s Deepings Raft Race happen.

Our usual scaffolding team can’t support us this time around, so we’re on the lookout for a reliable scaffolder who can help erect our loading platform and announcer’s towers at both the start and finish lines.

Ready, set...BUILD! 🔨

The Craft n Raft category was a new one last year and it's back again this year! Teams build their raft on the day with materials supplies by us, then take to the water and race up to High Locks.

But, there's only 6 team spots available for this category (maximum 4 persons per crew). So if you fancy it, enter now!

🚣‍♂️Deepings Raft Race 2026 – Entries Are Now Open! 🚣‍♀️

We’re doing things a little differently this year to make life easier for everyone - especially our poor admin team. Instead of fees per person, there’s now one flat entry fee of £40 per raft, whether you’ve got 2 paddlers or a full crew of 8 aboard.

So get your crew together and start planning your MARVELLOUS MUSICAL themed raft.

Remember, money from raft entry goes into the Deeping Raft Race Community Fund, which supports great local causes in and around the Deepings. Thanks to your support, last year we distributed £4,000 to 13 fantastic local groups and organisations. 💙
