Care Zone is a furniture recycling project based in Peterborough, helping families in crisis access good quality furniture and household goods that have been donated by the public. In addition to practical support, Care Zone volunteers take time to listen, care and signpost people, to access further support to help deal with the underlying problem. Care Zone also enables and empowers people with b
arriers to employment, through training and volunteering opportunities. REFERRALS
Those in crisis and in need of support are referred by Care Zone to registered local statutory and community agencies, having identified individuals facing exceptional pressure and in need of emergency furniture. Care Zone provides good quality furniture to those in genuine need. Our service is not intended to be an opportunity for people to replace or upgrade furniture. DONATIONS

We are currently unable to take donations of clothes, small furniture items, household goods, electrical items or office furniture. VOLUNTEER
Volunteering is a great way to get involved in your local community and learn new, and use existing skills, be part of a team, gain confidence and valuable work experience. We offer many different volunteering opportunities including:

Helping to deliver furniture
