Club '73 is a constituted community group formed in 1973 and offers much needed leisure time and respite opportunities for a number of vulnerable and socially excluded adults living in Peterborough and the surrounding areas. All our members have either a learning or social difficulty which often precludes them from safely, confidently and independently engaging in social and leisure activities most take for granted. We aim to offer a safe and inclusive regular weekend evening social and leisure outlet for our members. We know many of our members actively look forward to, and anticipate attending Club '73, and our various trips. We offer many activities including; ICT access, sports, art and crafts, a weekly member run disco, which all help facilitate the meaningful social contact with friends, as well as facilitating the engagement in many community run events and activities
Club '73 has for a number of years been mainly self-funding, having also received some small donations from our local community.
