β¨ Launching Today Perthshire Pride New βSafe Placeβ Stickers β¨π
Today, on , weβre proud to share something meaningful weβve been working on with Perth and Kinross Council, a small symbol with a big purpose.
Weβre introducing our brandβnew βSafe Placeβ rainbow stickers, created to highlight local businesses and venues where LGBT+ people can feel welcomed, respected and safe in everyday life.
From today, weβll begin reaching out to businesses across Perth and Kinross to invite them to take part. These stickers may be simple, but the message behind them is powerful:
You belong here. Youβre supported. Youβre safe.
As a communityβled organisation, we know how important visible support can be. Creating safe spaces isnβt just about buildings, itβs about people, kindness, and knowing youβre not alone.
Councillor Peter Barrett, Equalities Lead for Perth & Kinross Council, shared:
βWeβre pleased to support Perthshire Pride with this initiative to help members of the LGBT+ community know where the βSafe Placesβ are locally. Partnership working with organisations like Perthshire Pride and Rainbow Heartlands LGBT+ Perth and Kinross is a key part of our commitment to equality and fairness.β
Weβre excited to see these stickers appear across our city and beyond, building a growing network of inclusion and solidarity.
If youβre a business whoβd like to get involved, weβd love to hear from you. ππ
