We're nudging ever closer to signing the long term lease for the village hall. In preparation, you may have seen Ron doing a beautiful job of repairing and repainting the exterior windows. He's now starting to move on to the external doors, so could we ask 2 things:
1. Don't be tempted to pin notices to the lovely oak main doors (sorry Emma's Explorers - your notice will be going), which are currently being stripped and repaired. We will hunt you down if you do.
2. If you could move your vehicles from the front of the building during the working day (M-F), that helps Ron with ladders.

We'll keep you updated on progress with the lease (and how bookings will change) as soon as we have more info. In the meantime, address your complaints to PKC and bookings via Live Active

We started working on community ownership and management almost 3 years ago, yet we are *still* trying to agree a long term lease with PKC. All queries relating to use of the hall must be addressed to PKC and Live Active (see https://liveactive.co.uk/our-venues/community-halls/)

Any bookings made through Live Active will eventually be transferred to us, although priority will be given to the Childcare Club (Emma's Explorers) and we hope to re-decorate the hall during the 2026 October school holidays (so we may have to block out usage for a week).

We'll be at Little Dunning if you need to ask us questions, or offer suggestions or your help

Hi all as always we will have our stall at Little Dunning, come and visit us and find out how things with the hall are coming along.
We will have our usual tombola and any prizes donated will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Did you miss our AGM last month? Most of you did...

But a summary including plans for the future can be found at https://agm26.dunninghall.org.uk/

We are still negotiating a lease with PKC to take over the hall's management and operation: hopefully we can start making improvements this summer 🤞
