Dirliebane Theatre are putting on HOOT! in collaboration with Perth Theatre, it's a children's comedy theatre festival running from October 8th - 11th.

"HOOT! is a funny theatre festival for children aged 0-12 and their families. Bursting with performances, workshops, walkabout entertainment, interaction and participation, HOOT! is all about silliness, laughter and shared fun.

Running from the 8th-11th of October, HOOT! is taking place across The Joan Knight Suite, The Space and the foyer of Perth Theatre - have a look at what's on here - https://dirliebane.org.uk/hoot/

Some of our Young Carers and 2 of our support workers recently had the opportunity to visit Belfast and meet with the team at Young Carers Northern Ireland as part of our 4 nations trip.

Everyone had a great time and a huge thanks to everyone for their support to make the trip for our young carers!

Active Minds for young people age 8-12 years is back!

The Active Minds project is led by Mindspace, a local mental health charity in Perth, in partnership with Live Active Leisure. The Active Minds programme supports young people to learn coping skills, and give them confidence and tools to succeed in life, whilst also making some new friends.

Active Minds is an after school programme paired with a fun physical activity session, and over 10 weeks, children will also try a variety of circus skills including aerial acrobatics, to juggling and balancing at Adventure Circus.

✨A reminder to keep supporting PKAVS Young Carers at Tesco✨

We are delighted to have been selected to take part in Tesco’s customer voting scheme from Monday 3rd August until the end of November.

We would be grateful if you could use your blue tokens to support our project to create a woodland craft area in our garden, providing a welcoming outdoor space for young carers to enjoy.

Our young carers had a fantastic time exploring, playing and enjoying all the outdoor activities.
