As part of , Gail and Stephané attended Parents' Night at Fairview School to raise awareness of the support and services we provide at PKAVS Carers Centre.

It was a great opportunity to connect with families, share information about unpaid caring roles, and highlight how we can support carers in our community. 💙

Families in Perth & Kinross can apply for a pack for each child returning to school or nursery in August 2026. Applications are first come, first served and are expected to fill quickly.

Free climbing sessions are coming to UHI Perth this summer! 🧗‍♀️

As part of Scotland’s Summer of Sport programme, the Academy of Sport and Wellbeing is offering FREE sessions from the 6th of July to the 14th of August for the whole community — not just students.

There’s something for everyone, including Learn to Climb, Pop In & Play, Roped Climbing and Bouldering sessions for a range of ages.

A great chance for families, children and young people to get active, try something new and have fun this summer!

We're inviting all Young Carers to be creative for Carers Week! 🎨

Design a poster showing what caring means to you, and we'll be sharing the entries across schools in Perth to help raise awareness of Young Carers and the amazing work they do every day.

Entries should be sent to [email protected], with the winning poster chosen by vote on the 5th of June 2026. Good luck!

We need your support to help make this incredible trip possible for 16 amazing young carers. 💜

This September, they will travel across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland to meet other young carers who truly understand their journey. The trip will give them the chance to build friendships, grow in confidence, and create lasting memories away from the responsibilities they face every day.

Every contribution matters, big or small, will help cover travel, accommodation, activities, and support for the young people taking part.

This September, 16 young carers will travel to Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales, and England to meet other young carers, build friendships, share experiences, and create lasting memories with people who truly understand their journey.

What an amazing Easter Week we’ve had with our PKAVS Young Carers! 🎉

Over four fantastic days, our young people enjoyed a packed programme of activities. From high ropes and laser tag at Action Glen, to exploring the Wallace Monument, visiting Blair Drummond Safari Park, and spending time together outdoors. We even rounded things off with a well-deserved lunch out on the final day!

It’s been a truly special week filled with fun, laughter, new experiences, and friendships. Most importantly, it gave our Young Carers a chance to relax, recharge, and enjoy time just for themselves.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this week such a success. Our incredible staff, the venues who welcomed us, and of course BBC Children in Need for funding Easter Week and making this possible. 💙
