Sensory processing differences can affect how a person experiences sound, touch, light, movement, smell and everyday environments.

What may seem small to one person can feel intense, uncomfortable or difficult to process for another.

Understanding sensory needs and making small adjustments can make a huge difference.

Tourette's Awareness Month started on the 15th of May and runs to the 15th of June. We started by thanking our most recent Occupational Therapy student Rebecca and our brand new social media volunteers Jo, Sharon and Angela for the great work they have done creating all of our posts for the month.
We were sure you would agree they have done a fantastic job when you saw the posts...
Now is the time to let us know what you think!! Are they doing a fantastic job or what?!?!

Please like, share and comment on them all to increase the reach and spread the word!!

Thanks team!!

Tourettic OCD and mental health can be tricky to cope with.
It can be hard to pick out a Tourettic OCD tic and know how to help when someone is stuck in a loop; they may not even know what they need themselves, especially if the tic is a new one.
Patience and understanding is key and reducing anxiety or likelihood of overwhelm can help.
