What a lovely afternoon spent in Edinburgh meeting the lovely Sindri Viborg and Iveta Licha visiting from Iceland!

Sindri is the chair of the Icelandic Tourette Association. We learned about the fantastic work they are doing there and chatted about future projects!

It's so lovely to make connections with organisations who love their members like we do!

A wee extra nomination to sneak in at the end! We just love sharing the positivity!

Throughout May and June, we've seen conversations started, experiences shared, support shown and so many people coming together to help increase understanding of Tourette's Syndrome.

Every interaction matters. Every conversation helps challenge stigma. Every person who takes time to listen and learn helps create a safer and more accepting world for people living with Tourette's.

To everyone who has supported Tourette Scotland this month in any way, thank you for being a part of the change. A special thank you to everyone involved behind the scenes, including our volunteers, supporters, advocates, families and community members who continue to support people living with Tourette's Syndrome.

As Awareness Month comes to an end we hope the conversations continue, because understanding matters every day of the year.

A huge thank you to Abid Nazir for supporting in such a creative way.

Having worked behind the scenes in I Swear he said he was keen to get involved.

Whilst visiting the Marseille Museum in France Abid proudly wore his awareness laces, and chose to wear one shoe to encourage people to ask him about it. Every conversation helps break down misconceptions and promotes acceptance and understanding.

Thank you Abid for going the extra mile 🩵
