With a gift of £100, you can add your loved one’s name to the path leading out to our air ambulances.

You’ll receive a personalised certificate and special pin badge to celebrate your life-saving contribution.

Their name will be proudly displayed where our crews will see it before they set out to reach people in urgent need. And when our crews return after the hardest of missions, in those moments, your loved one’s name can bring comfort and support – a reminder to our crews that the people of Scotland stand with them.

While out on a excursion in the Highlands, Roy’s front wheel of his motorbike caught in a pothole while navigating a bend and sent him spiralling into an oncoming car.

Roy’s catalogue of injuries included: internal bleeding; a double break in his lower leg; a broken pelvis and ripped tendons resulting in a floating kneecap.

SCAA arrived at the scene with a specialist doctor-led team to treat Roy at the roadside before airlifting him to the Major Trauma Centre at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. Watch his full story:

SCAA made the long flight to Orkney recently to airlift a man requiring vital mainland cardiac care after suffering a heart attack.

The patient was flown, in comfort and with constant professional care, by our Helimed 79 crew to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary in under an hour - highlighting the vital lifeline the service offers to our remote and island communities.

Today we celebrate the official launch of our new partnership with Scotmid Coop 🎉

Our life-saving charity has been chosen as Scotmid's charity partner for 2026/27. Colleagues, members and customers will support SCAA through fundraising, awareness activity and local events over the next year.

This significant level of support will help us reach more people needing urgent medical care when every second counts. Thank you!
