Congratulations to our cadets on their recent achievements! 👏

A huge well done to Cpl Bonham and Cpl Hughes for successfully achieving their Method of Instruction (MOI) qualification.

We would also like to congratulate Cpl Hughes, Cdt Foster, and Cdt Fells on achieving their Blue Band (Drums) classification. 🥁

We’re delighted to be bringing home three medals:
🥇 JF 400m Sprint – Cpl Ottlinghaus
🥈 JF 100m Sprint – Cpl Ottlinghaus
🥈 U16B Shot Put – Cdt Foster

Our cadets also competed in the 200m Sprint, 300m Sprint, 800m, 1500m, 4x100m Relay, Javelin, Discus and High Jump – a brilliant achievement from everyone involved. 👏

Congratulations to all who took part and represented the squadron so well. You should all be proud of your efforts! 💙

On Saturday, four of our cadets took to the skies in the RAF’s primary trainer, the Grob Tutor T1 at Air Experience Flight 8, RAF Cosford. Each, took part in a 25 minute lesson with an instructor who let them take control of the aircraft.

Last weekend, cadets from 233 (Pershore), 1017 (Malvern), 187 (Worcester), 2516 (Droitwich) & 216 (Redditch) were invited by Worcester Model Aero Club for a day of model flying at their Rushwick flying site. The day was fantastic, all of the cadets were able to fly models under expert instruction, were treated to an FPV demonstration, used simulators and able to view some of the clubs amazingly detailed scale models. A big thank you to WMAC for providing us with such a great opportunity.

A huge thank you to RFCA for the Cadet Welfare Grant funding, which has enabled us to purchase a full MTA STEM Kit worth £2400!

This fantastic resource will give our cadets hands-on opportunities to develop their skills, knowledge, and confidence in STEM activities. We can’t wait to see it in action! 🚀
