What is this?

So many of the old tales begin with 'Once upon a time...', but this time, it’s not for children. If you attend these evenings, you'll soon see fairy tales and folklore offer us depths beyond our day-to-day.

This evening is an invitation to ancient myth, fiery love and the call to open our eyes a little wider.

What calls to you through story? This is a chance to sit in circle, listen and be held by the words that weave threads through minds, bodies and spirits 🪶

Oral storytelling is one of the oldest human community practices… being with fellow humans in this space of exploration is an alchemical process that weaves and connects us to the deeper mysteries within each of us…

What can story create within us? How can we be around story? What is yearning within us to move, to be seen and heard?

All funds go towards the new community dance and fire space 🔥

Join us as we honour the changing of the seasons through movement, music, connection and community.

Such beautiful offerings from sacred sound journey to song, ecstatic dance, sauna ceremony and myth telling … it’s gonna be a luscious time 💚✨🔥😁🌎💫✨

12:00pm – Open for arriving and settling

12:30–1:30pm – Opening Ceremony

1:30–2:30pm – Lunch

2:30–4:00pm (choice of 1 workshop)

✨ The Joyful Chakra Wiggle with

4:30–5:30pm – Living Waters Devotional Singing with

6:00–7:30pm (Choose one experience)
💛 Ecstatic Dance with
🔥 Sauna Ceremony

8:30pm until late – Fire & Storytelling with Campfire Sam Recallingfire

A truly special evening that will lead in to the dream world. We will weave an honouring of the waters into a mythical evening of the story of Tristan and Iseult… into the dream world….

8:30–10:30pm – Communal Sauna

Morning waking time -
Sam will guide us with the mythical story unravelling and ending … bringing ancient wisdom to the present 🌎

Feeling blessed and grateful for all that has been on the journey of building Fire Fest. Seems like a dream right now ! ✨

What really made our hearts sing was the energy of building something together - for a shared purpose and hope - people donating their time to volunteer , to facilitate workshops - the support was jaw dropping and the feeling of community was soooo real 🙏🙏❤️🔥🌎

THANK YOU from every part of our hearts! At the closing ceremony a dear friend mentioned the holding of the vision that after many years had come to fruition at Fire Fest 🔥 and I realised afterwards that it’s only been possible to hold the vision because of all the friends, the support from everyone over the years - the magical tapestry of life weaving these threads with beautiful souls …

A song at the closing ceremony ‘I long to belong in a circle of belonging, I long to belong in a circle with you’ felt so true. The feeling of being home with tribe, family, right here - a coming together of hearts .. felt so real and meaningful…

We’re remembering … these ways of being together again…

Fire fest was born from a conversation about fundraising with Emma Johnson who had the idea to create a festival ❤️⭐️🔥 thank you for all your amazing hard work/ creative output and energy 🔥😁🙏🤸⭐️

Also want to thank Lara White for helping support me in so many ways in the run up to the Festival and over the years! Also for bringing the idea of holding a sharing circle to talk about community connection and vulnerability- a conversation dear to my heart 🙏😁

Really appreciate the birthing of this family and the wider family that is emerging through the process of building Fire fest from the early beginnings to the final stages … those who were in the wings supporting and those who were at the event hands on… feels like seeds🌱 are growing and deeper connections are being born 🌎🪶☀️🌺💫✨🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

So many moving parts that made it possible ! All of your incredible generosity of spirit and a joint desire to build something special meant it was enjoyed by everyone …
