📢 From 1st August you will able to order repeat medications for someone else using the NHS App. You must have proxy access to do this.

What is Proxy Access?

Proxy access allows you to use your NHS App or online services to order repeat prescriptions on behalf of somebody else.

Proxy access is commonly used by:
👶 Parents or guardians managing a child's healthcare
👵 Family members or carers supporting someone who needs assistance
💙 People who have given permission for someone they trust to help manage their care

How do I get Proxy Access?

To set up proxy access, you must have access to the NHS App.

You'll need to come in to either surgery to:
✔ Complete a proxy access request form
✔ Provide proof of your identity
✔ Obtain the patient's consent (if they are able to give it) and complete a consent form.

For children, the level of access available depends on their age and NHS guidance.

Once your request has been approved, you'll be able to request repeat prescriptions through your own NHS App, from the 1st August 2026 when this is turned on.

We have had a busy few weeks at the HUB.. lots going on… new dates for Citizens Advice and Community Energy Plus visits… Monday 12th October 10-11am… no need to book please just come along for free advice and support or why not come along to our fabulous Healthy Walking group.. every Wednesday 9.45 meeting at the community HUB.. everyone welcome..
