New women’s workshop starting next week. See original post ⬇️

A new workshop coming next month, available to all women, no other criteria.

England Netball Healthy Cornwall will be offering FREE walking netball sessions at Humphry Davy School starting Thursday 1st October 18.00pm.

Now the summer activity clubs are finished, we can do a community litter pick, there’s quite a bit of rubbish on the estate as we didn’t get time to do it during August.

If your children are still off school, it’s great to get them involved too and teaches them to care for the environment plus you’ll all get to enjoy a free jacket potato meal afterwards!

Ladies craft social group is back this Thursday after having a summer break.

Over 18’s only, no booking required and all materials supplied. Completely free with free hot drinks.

WAC Community Hub would like to say a big thank you to all the children that have attended our KKC party today, it’s been a fun filled day with lots of smiles and laughter 🥳🎉

Thank you to our volunteers and the parents for helping, Hannah of Revive Hair Lounge for the hair tinsels, Little Eden Entertainment for the bouncy castles and Humphry Davy School for the use of their sports hall.

Not the weather to be out at the park, come along to our hub for some tasty lunch where the kids eat free, even adults if you choose soup! We have lots of activities available to keep you entertained and there are even books that the children can take away and keep.

🧡 Our free soup today is mixed vegetables served with garlic bread.

🧡 Jacket potato with upto two fillings and salad. Cheese, beans and tuna mayonnaise with sweetcorn. £4.50

🧡 Wrap with tuna mayonnaise and sweetcorn or cheese plus salad. £5.00

🧡 Jacket potato or wrap with coronation chicken plus salad. £6.00

Did you know that we have Vegan Cheese for those with dietary requirements or allergies and the butter we use is vegan too.

Inspiring Women Network will be hosting a Zimbabwe cooking workshop at our hub on Friday 18th September 11.00am-13.00pm for women.
