The Growing Project Pensilva The Growing Project CIC is a community project based in Pensilva,Cornwall. We have a fantastic team of volunteers, who have made all this possible.

Volunteer run, community project providing fresh produce all year round to the local community whilst providing a space that is beneficial to the community and environment. We own an acre site, abundant with fruit and vegetables which we sell to the local community. We grow a great assortment of plants, and provide a welcoming space for willing volunteers and for anyone who would benefit from the

interaction with growing plants, nature, and being outdoors. We could not do this without you; many many thanks to you all.

Volunteer morning is currently on Wednesday 10-1 but once we get back into term time there will also be volunteering opportunities on a Monday and Friday morning

We would like to say a huge thankyou to the wonderful people at Cornwall council trading standards team who came to volunteer with us for the day last Wednesday 😀!
An amazing amount of jobs got done and also jobs I didn't list were just magically done (I am still walking round corners and finding plants trussed up and piles of stuff tidied away !)
Hopefully photos of people will follow but I have taken photos of weeded areas ,planted plants, the newly installed pond , mesh doors built for top polytunnel and the bottom polytunnel stripped right back ready for refurbishment 🪴 🌿 🪴 🌿 🪴 🌿
