Our Harvest Celebration last Sunday was a whirlwind of family fun! 🍎 🎃

A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who joined in and turned a slightly drizzly day into a fabulous gathering!

From guessing how many Borlotti beans were packed into a jar to the crazy antics of apple bobbing, folks also tried their hand at crafting willow hoops for hoopla and whipping up magical willow wands.

The Earth Healing pot and the children's fire took center stage in the garden (complete with explanations), offering a peek into the heart and soul of everything we do at Tregovenek.

"'It's lovely to see families with young children enjoying fun and games in the garden. And the cakes were delicious!!"

We have regular volunteer mornings in the garden - so if you want to be part of the magic, please get in touch!

Friday's work party was a bit damp AND still beautiful as ever!

🌻We were setting up and tidying for Sunday's Harvest Celebration
🍏 We planted, harvested and weeded
🔨 We kept working on the kitchen and shelter

😉And Ele set everyone a challenge - to relax and enjoy the garden (it's surprisingly difficult for volunteers who just love getting stuck in and doing stuff)!!

Very excited to welcome people to the garden on Sunday for our Harvest Celebration on Sunday 3-5pm - simple, wholesome and fun! ALL WELCOME! 🧡

Ever played 'land-workers bingo'? Not the mainstream version! It was brilliant fun especially in the dark!! 🔥

Our Solidari-Tea event went extremely well! Thanks to a great Tregovenek team, wonderful cakes, a full moon, a bright fire, beautiful music, herbal knowledge sharing and a willingness from all to join in with fun games and deep sharing 🙏

It was a fabulous way to mark the equinox and an opportunity to support each other to come back to balance after a challenging Summer for our amazing network of local regenerative growers. Strengthening the net of support for those people with the vision to make a real difference for now and future generations and courageous enough to work the land 💚❤️💚

We love variety in the garden at Tregovenek and today there was plenty in both the produce and tasks on a stunning Autumn day 😎🍁 Beautiful flowers, winter salads for the polytunnel and processing the colourful beans 🌱🫘

Lots of progress with the field kitchen today with new materials arriving on site and the floor taking shape 🔨 So exciting!

Excellent work Team Tregovenek 🙏 you are amazing 💚

Harvest time is in full swing and just look at these amazing tomatoes! 🍅😍 They have thrived in the sunny weather thanks to our fabulous watering team who have been so busy through the summer months 🙏

Plenty to harvest outside in the veg beds too along with the start of seed saving season. It's also a time of transition as we start to add compost to the beds in preparation for succession planting during the next few months 🌱

🧤 Our work party next week returns to Friday morning. Why not come and join us?

🐝Time is flying by and we are already in the third week in September which means the work party switches to Saturday this week.

New volunteers are always very welcome and if you would like to join in or pop along to visit the garden to find out more about this amazing community space we would love to see you 💚

🌿✨ The abundance in the garden is breathtaking! It was amazing to see such a great turnout on Friday's volunteer day now that most folks are back from their summer adventures. We had 12 people join us. Most tried their hand at some green woodworking on the shave horse to strip bark for the signposts.

It was a joy to welcome Klaudia back and watch her tending he medicinal herb garden. And Astra, of course, soaked up all the cuddles and the lovely Autumn sun! ☀️🍂

Please do come along to our Harvest Celebration on 11th October (3-5pm) and if you would like to see what volunteering at Tregovenek looks like, please email [email protected]. 😍

🎉 What a fantastic Annual General Meeting at Tregovenek! 🎶 When the meeting ends with everyone dancing to “Thank You” by Seize The Day, you know something special is happening! 🌟

This weekend, we celebrated our fourth AGM in the beautiful garden surroundings. 🌿 We reappointed the fantastic Triple Bottom Line Accounting Limited, elected Board members, and unveiled our 2026 Annual Report and Accounts. 📊

It’s been a year of consolidation and focus, centring our energy on growing our volunteer base and responding to the needs of the garden, wildlife, and people who enjoy it. We’ve been navigating the planning system, searching for values-aligned neighbours and we’ve ensured there is time for deep breaths, fun, listening, learning, connection, and mindful decision-making.

💚 In a time where the mega-crisis’ seem to be taking hold, Tregovenek feels like an island of coherence, a place for trying a new way, connecting, belonging and contributing positively.

🙏 A huge thank you to everyone who attended and to all who contributed over the past year. We can’t wait for the next chapter of Tregovenek’s story!
