Give Back to Cornwall: The Bio-diesel Project

Give Back to Cornwall: The Bio-diesel Project So what is biodiesel? WVO is vegetable oil which has been previously used by the catering industry and would otherwise be a waste product.

SIFE is a non-profit organisation enabling university students to make a difference in their communities with the aim to create a better, more sustainable world through the positive power of business Biodiesel is a form of fuel which can be used to power diesel engined vehicles, It is possible to produce biodiesel through the processing of waste vegetable oil (WVO). The fact that biodiesel can be

produced through the utilisation of a waste product, among other factors, makes biodiesel a far more sustainable/greener fuel in comparison to traditional fossil diesel. The problem we're adressing:

Cornwall is one of the poorest counties throughout the whole of the UK, with many students leaving school or college with little knowledge or guidance on what to do next. We want to try and provide these students with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the competitive world of business, whilst also demonstrating that our planets ecosystems and natural resources do not have to, and should not, be depleted through the development of a business.
