Students been back at it again this week. 👀 They’ve cleared the exciting path to the Orchard and even managed to build their own little bridge across. This now means wheelbarrow access is a lot easier to achieve and will save hours of walking around. 🌲🧱

***UPDATE***

Apologise for the quiet spell with the updates but as you can see, we’ve been very busy looking after our new plants. Due to the generous donations and loving team we have here at Penryn College, we have even had to build a new bed.
Currently, we’re growing Corn, Pumpkin, Nasturtiums, Tomatoes, sweet peppers and lettuce. Keep your eyes peeled for some more updates. 🌽🎃🌱👀

A small number of students in school have been working extremely hard to clear the overgrown tress and plants from the Polytunnels. Each student has learnt valuable skills, including the use of Bow saws, loppers, shovels, forks, wheelbarrows and much more.

While clearing the Polytunnels, the students discovered some wild strawberries which they would like to protect and try and re-home in the coming weeks.

More sessions booked in for next week so keep your eyes peeled. 👀
