The Ullswater Hopper Bus is running this weekend! 🚌
If you're heading to the valley this Saturday or Sunday, leave the car at home. The UB1 and UB2 connect all the major stops, holiday accommodations, attractions and Ullswater Steamer piers around the valley, all for just £3 a ticket.

Pooley Bridge, Aira Force, Howtown, Lowther Castle, Glenridding... we've got you covered!

Dogs welcome (obviously!). Kids under 5 travel free.

Spring 🤝 Ullswater 🍃

Redstarts in the hedgerows. Roe deer on the fell sides. The whole valley is coming back to life after a sleepy winter, and it's delightful to see.

I guess this post is a nod to why we started our charity, to protect the place we live... 'WE' being all living things - all of the animals, wildlife, trees and plants included.

We know Ullswater is special... It's why our little valley is so popular. Keeping it accessible without it being loved to death is exactly why SITU exists.

Great news for beer lovers.... 🍺

Our friends at The Royal Hotel, Dockray are hosting a Charity Beer Festival on the 19th and 20th of June, and it looks like a brilliant weekend 🍻

Free entry, local Cumbrian beers, live music Friday night and Saturday, food, and camping available if you want to make a full weekend of it.

The best bit? The Ullswater Bus stops right at Dockray, so you can enjoy a proper beer festival without worrying about who's driving home 🚌
